We hosted a small birthday poker night with family and Neil was the perfect addition! The drinks didn’t stop flowing and they were SO good. he was super flexible with our wonky setup (we were staying in an Airbnb with no parking) and that was so appreciated.

I stumbled on Neil with emerald city cocktails and booked with them for my wedding in October 2022. Not only was the booking process easy, but they were flexible with options that fit our budget and gave great advice in the area of bar tops for events. We ended up deciding to rent a bartender and a bar top along with all supplies, then provided all the alcohol ourselves. Neil gave amazing advice on what alcohol to get and how much of each to get. The day of the wedding I had a few other vendors not follow through with what they were paid to do, but Neil and emerald city cocktails was certainly not one of them. Neil showed up on time, got everything set up, and didn’t need any help or have any questions for me, which was refreshing and kept me stress free. I got compliments from all of my guests on how cool and charming he was, and how professional the bar area looked. At the end of the event Neil went above and beyond cleaning the area up, and boxing up/organizing the extra alcohol for us to take home later. If you want a reliable, amazing bartending service that you know will show up and do their job excellently and professionally then book these guys. They’re freaking ROCK!!!!!

Neil was so great! There was some hiccups in the party due to weather but Neil was a rockstar and still was friendly and a great bartender for our holiday event.

Hired Emerald City Cocktails for our wedding. Great service and great cocktails! Would recommend them for weddings or other special events!

I had a request that cocktails only be served during cocktail hour, no shots, no drinks other than the signature cocktails were to be made and none of that was followed.
We had a keg and they stopped serving the beer because they ran out of cups. They were also supposed to provide the equipment to pump the beer out of the keg and they didn’t provide that.
The drinks tasted fine, they brought the correct garnishes. But overall I was disappointed that all of my requests went ignored and now I have to deal with a full keg instead of an empty one because they didn’t bring enough cups that they are supposed to provide.
Communication with Neil was fine, I always got a response. Nothing was over the top fantastic nor was anything horrible.
If I could go back again, I would make sure to explicitly explain to the bartender that will be at your event exactly what you want, because the owner does not pass that information on.

Chris was excellent. On time quick and personable. The other bartender was not quite up to standard. She was late and there were a few unfortunate issues. Chris can fill you in on all of the details. Or you can call me to discuss.

Emerald City did bartending for our wedding in Wenatchee WA and they were great. We worked with Neil to create and pick two signature cocktails. He also put together a bartending checklist to guide us for quantities of different kinds of beverages and counts of glasses.
Chris was our bartender day of and he was great. Several guests commented on how they enjoyed chatting with him and the cocktails were VERY tasty. We did a cucumber basil gin refresher and a blackberry brandy bramble.
They brought everything and cleaned it all up. Also put together a menu with all of our somewhat assorted beverages.

Our event was a little out of the ordinary having a long bar service with primarily a non-drinking crowd. Chris, our bartender, was great and approached our event with as much enthusiasm as any other event, and stayed the full day serving good drinks and a fun time. My husband and I had a backyard wedding reception and Emily was our bartender. She showed up on time and was all set up by the time the guests arrived. I had guests tell me she memorized their drinks and we had about 100 people in attendance. So, I find this impressive! I wasn’t around the bar too much but from what I observed she was quick and friendly (even to some obnoxious people later in the evening).

Neil was great in organizing the service and provided us with a checklist that we’d need beforehand. This was very helpful! He also suggested event insurance which is something I hadn’t even thought of. I also loved the options to add on mixers and ice, these are small touches that allowed us more time to get ready on the day of instead of worrying about picking up ice last minute.

I would most definitely hire again in the future for a large event.

The company emerald city cocktails reached out to us and checked up on us a few times and few days before our wedding to confirm information witch was great because a few thing tend to slip the mind when planning a wedding on my own. The ECC team put together great signature cocktails, helped with alcohol volume recommendations, and made sure there was almost never a line to get drinks at our wedding. Great experience!

Our bartender Chris showed up with plenty of time prior to our event to set up, and handled the event with professionalism, courtesy and a chill vibe. He was exactly what we wanted for our party -- low key, made great drinks, and was kind to all, including the cat. The call with Neil prior to the event also deserves a shout out, as does the checklist provided for shopping. In short, Emerald City Cocktails made the "drinks" part of our event super easy and manageable. Would highly recommend this company to anybody.

We had a large wedding and there was never really a line for the bar! Multiple guests reached out to tell me how awesome they thought our bartenders were! Communication before the event was not as good as I hoped, but it’s also a crazy wedding season. If your thinking about booking them, DO IT!!

Overall the bartending at our wedding was well received by our guests and our open bar and signature cocktails were served as we had hoped. There were some things we had wished would have gone better and then one event that was really disappointing to hear about from a couple of our guests. We were unaware that we were not allowed to have table wine during our dinner, and very disappointed that we then did not have the expensive glassware rentals specifically for the dinner wine put out as we were notified only just before the ceremony that the wine would only be served from behind the bar and that the bartender would not be flexible to allow the licensed caterer to serve the wine at the tables which resulted in the wine pairings that were selected for our plated meals not being served at all unless guests took their own initiative to go get wine from the bar which was still then a free for all of what they got as we had several wines to select from but only one red and one white that were specifically selected for our meal pairings. I can let that go as a miscommunication and would only hope that this could be better explained for out of state couples in the future. The other disappointing event however was something we are still upset about. We had purchased a selection of fine whiskeys and scotch for that were meant to be reserved for drinking on their own (without mix). It was noticed at one point in the night by two individual guests who recounted what happened next to us separately that our bartender was using one of the $300 bottles of whiskey to mix a whiskey and Coke. Given we returned from the wedding and still had some Costco whiskey that was purchased for mixing sent back with us I don’t understand why that was ever done. The individuals both reported that when the bartender was confronted about this that his response was “Don’t worry the couple can afford it”. That was the most upsetting part to hear about. While it is true that we did spend a larger than average amount on our wedding (which we paid for ourselves without large amounts of expendable funds) and taking into account that it perhaps was another miscommunication about the intentions of the more expensive liquor to still find out that when it was being pointed out that the more expensive whiskey wasn’t intended for mixing, that this was their response was unsettling, insulting and unprofessional. Again we for the most part got what we had paid for, and our guests were well served and none the wiser to the miscommunications about the intended situation for dinner wine and glassware. I also hope that this was an isolated occurrence in terms of business practice as I really hate to leave a bad review and do wish the best for them as a small local, environmentally friendly business, however I cannot say that we would work with Emerald City Cocktails personally again.

Neil and Emerald City Cocktail were the perfect compliment to my wedding reception. Neil was on the ball with serving our complete open bar including our two signature cocktails (white peach Bellinis and prickly pear Moscow mules) . Our guests felt well attended to the entire night, and as the bride I felt even better with knowing that my bar was eco-friendly. Would definitely recommend Neil and Emerald City Cocktails to bartend other events.

Virtually every venue we had explored had recommended Emerald CIty Cocktails so we chose them as our bartending service and they did not disappoint! Through calls, e-mails, and Pinterest Boards, Neil was able to help us come up with craft cocktails for our event as well as provided us with mocktail options for our non-drinker friends. I believe our bartenders were Chris and Briana? They were fast, efficient, very friendly, and personable. I'm very glad I selected ECC and will recommend them to friends for future weddings and events.

I worked with Neil behind the scenes and I love how turn-key and organized everything was. He sent TIna for the bridal shower on the day of the event and she was top-notch! People raved about her drinks, (fresh herbs & fruit muddled, etc.) She was very professional and we only wish she could have joined in on the festivities.

I used Emerald City Cocktails for my sister's surprise birthday party. It was great! Above and beyond anything I expected. Even thought I was booking at the last minute during very busy holiday season, Neil managed to pull everything together and work with me on a special cocktails menu that changed a few times before we settled on the final version. Nicole (our bartender) was fantastic! Anything we could come up with, both traditional cocktails like Manhattan or Whiskey Sour, or anything new and kinda crazy she could compose with perfection and it was delicious. I also really liked the professional setting for the bar and the entire process of working with Emerald City Cocktails. The setup time, the cleanup, the bar setting, everything was done quickly and on time and was very well thought out. Emerald City Cocktails helped me figure out how much of what types of beverages to buy which was super helpful. I appreciated that the bar tender had a QR code for tipping which makes tipping way easier for guests. She was very friendly and everything went smooth!

8/10 the bartender was great (we provided our own liquor from costco) however there was just a small hiccup at the beginning of the cocktail hour where he made both of our signature drinks incorrectly (still delicious) even though the proper ingredients were on the menu, this only was an issue because he added sour mix to both drinks and we didn't purchase enough for that so within an hour he had erased our signature cocktails off the board and stopped serving them. I quickly corrected this and taught him how to make the drinks properly, just a small hiccup and our drinks were then served all night:)

We hired Emerald City Cocktails for our September 2021 wedding and we have no regrets! The bartender was friendly and kept the bar looking very welcoming and professional. They were easy to work with and adapted to changes leading up to the wedding. Both of our signature cocktails were big hits, we had plenty of alcohol for the event, and wedding guests had only good things to say about the service. You can't go wrong with this vendor!

We were very pleased with the bar service provided by Emerald City Cocktails. We had our wedding on a private residence in Mount Vernon. Emerald City Cocktails was helpful in preparing for the bar service at our event. We put together a Couples Shower and Casino Night party this past weekend. One of the best decisions we made was to contact Emerald City Cocktails - having Nicole as bartender was like hitting BlackJack all night long! We will never throw another big event without Nicole or one of her equally trained associates. We hired Emerald City (Neil) for a cocktail making session for a group of 5 couples that had been enjoying quarterly, themed dinner parties for several years before COVID. This was our virtual reunion. Neil was awesome! Friendly, knowledgeable and someone we would have invited to our party anytime! He blended in with our vibe like he was part of the group, while showing us the ropes on a few delicious cocktails. We would definitely hire Emerald City for another event in the future. Cheers!

I worked with Neil to put on a virtual cocktail-making happy hour from my team. He was so great to work with - listening to our ideas and tailoring the event / cocktails based on ideas from my group. All necessary supplies were packaged separately and delivered to all participant's homes, so we had everything we needed. The whole team had such a great time! Neil taught us how to make two delicious cocktails and also answered other general questions about cocktails / bartending. The event was a hit!!

Neil was absolutely great! We participated in a corporate virtual mixology class, and Neil helped identify cocktail themes and accommodated ingredients for all. The kits were thoughtfully put together with homemade touches (the elixirs were BOMB). We had such a fun time following along with Neil -- cocktails and mocktails turned out delicious, and I would absolutely recommend him again!

We wanted to have a festive office holiday party even though our staff couldn't be together in person this year. Neil with very quick and responsive in coordinating with us, helped us pick delicious cocktails and sent us all the fixings. Nicole, the mixologist, did a great job showing us how to mix them up. When I first reached out to Neil, we set up a quick call to go over the details for the event and types of cocktails we wanted to serve, including 2 specialty cocktails. From there he sent over a personalized shipping list. On the evening of the event, he showed up promptly and even had some extra mixers I had forgotten to pick up myself. The smoking cloche was a huge hit!

I surprised my partner with a bartender for a small birthday gathering with close friends, and I cannot imagine a better experience that what we had with Emerald City Cocktails. Pre-planning - They were super responsive! I gave them a menu of drinks that we wanted to offer (12 different cocktails), and they sent me a shopping list which was easy to take to the store. They were super responsive the entire process. Day Of - They arrived about an hour before the event with their portable bar. The bar was awesome! It felt like we had a real bar in the house. Chris was our bartender, and he was great! Friendly, knowledgeable, easy to work with! We will ask for him again next time. They set up a tent sign with the drink menu which was super cute! The drinks were all fabulous. We had small group, but it was special to be able to do this given that social gatherings are very limited. Chris was masked the whole time and everyone felt safe! Highly recommend!

Neil was our bartender for the event and he did a great job. After the event I talked to all of our guests and one of the highest point of the event was our bartender. Neil served really delicious drinks and helped us to organize the event and clean it up after it was done.
With him at the bar I was not worry about serving drinks to guests. and it seems like that everyone was really happy with the service. We had our own bar but Neil has the full bar with all the glasses that is necessary for serving people.
He was really fast and very precise in serving drinks, I saw a lot of people who had mojito in their hand and even though I don't like mojito, but the way he decorated drinks encouraged me to get mojito.
Overal I am really happy with him and will invite him over for our next event.

Everything went smoothly and easily. Due to last minute changes we only had about a week to get a bartender and Neil was super helpful with communicating back and forward while at the same time communicating with the venue. During the event Nicole had everything ready to go on time and was extremely friendly.

Neil walked us through our very first large event - a country barn dance with live music. He set up everything, told us exactly what we needed and was extremely patient. I can't say enough about how great our experience with Neil was! He bartended for my company holiday/curling party and managed to make the most important part of the party (booze) the least stressful part of the entire process. He helped me brainstorm for a customized menu and then, given a list of drinks I wanted to serve, broke everything down into a list what I needed to buy and what he would supply - having someone tell me how much of everything to buy to get us through the event saved me SO much time! Communication beforehand was clear and I always got quick responses to even my silliest questions. He brought all of the equipment we needed and his positive attitude didn't even break when we discovered that all of the heavy equipment needed to be carried up two flights of stairs (sorry!)

Neil was excited and enthusiastic about our party from the very beginning, which I loved. He made drinks quickly and was super laid back, friendly and personable behind the bar throughout the event.
