Einen

Einen is a professional, providing quality music and a beautiful voice. She will normally get there 30 minutes ahead of the appointed time to set up her own amplification system and do a sound check if necessary. For wedding services she will attempt to be color coordinated to the wedding party. Einen is amenable to learning particular songs for an additional fee. Einen provides a worry free interlude of relaxation and enjoyment.

Einen, an Oregon Native, is a singer/songwriter who brings moments of joy and sorrow to life with her inspirational and introspective music. Gentle, folk-based melodies and often philosophical lyrics are combined with her pure 3 octave range peeling back the layers of life to expose the emotions beneath of love, loss, and hope.

Einen performs and composes with an Autoharp. She is self-taught so her technique is uniquely stylized. The mellow, full-bodied sound of Einen's voice and her 36 string Autoharp combine to create an intimate aura which soothes, uplifts and renews your spirit. Each composition gently offers a view into the hidden parts of ourselves. She borrows her imagery from the beauty that surrounds us and the similarities between us. Freedom of expression, permission for the process, and respect for Creation, including ourselves, motivates her music. Her music connects with people.

My needs are simple. I require an electrical outlet if you wish to have amplification. I will provide the sound system unless one is already available. I require a stool to sit on, and will bring my own as necessary. (The fewer things I have to lug around, the better!) It would be helpful to have a volunteer to help with sound check. I require about a 6x6 foot area to accommodate myself and the sound system, mic stands and music stand. Lighting can be discussed on a case by case basis.
