eGALitarian Brass

eGALitarian Brass is very portable and can perform in a variety of locations and scenarios. As a classical group, we have performed in various settings such as recitals, galas, church services, and fundraising events. For cocktail hour, weddings, and other events we love playing a mix of familiar pop/R&B/ and hip hop tunes and handpicked jazz favorites. From custom music arrangements, choreography, and the magic of an all female band, eGALitarian Brass is here to make your event extra special.

eGALitarian is an all female classical brass quintet by day and a brass band + drums by night. Comprised of seasoned New York City freelancers, we have performed throughout the city in many events including weddings, Broadway, The Tonight Show, orchestra concerts at Carnegie Hall, a recital at the International Women's Brass Conference, and even performing outside bars on the street. As a brass band with drums, we are dedicated to making people smile and dance, as they recognize their favorite tunes and have a great time. As a classical ensemble, we prioritize performing music by historically underrepresented composers and commissioning new repertoire. We love playing traditional classical repertoire with works by Bach, Gabrieli, Purcell, and more for weddings and church performances. We have presented recitals at the International Women's Brass Conference, New York Women Composers Gala, and Spectrum's Female Composer's Festival.
