When you book Echoes & Rhythm, here’s what you can expect:

Personalized Music Selection
We’ll work with you to shape the setlist around your event: Oldies and 60s/70s for a classic crowd, a broader mix through the 80s–00s for a wider age range, or a blend of everything. You can also choose songs directly from our list if you’d like.

Full-Band Feel, Comfortable Volume
Acoustic guitar, vocals, and live drums deliver the energy and presence of a full band, but we always keep the volume at a level where guests can still talk, laugh, and enjoy themselves.

Engaging, Crowd-Friendly Performance
Our goal is to create a relaxed, fun atmosphere. We love when people tap along, sing, or call out songs from our list. We’re happy to take requests from our catalog on the fly.

Echoes & Rhythm is an acoustic duo built around one simple idea: give people the feel of a full band, without overwhelming the room.

Marcel is a seasoned acoustic performer with decades of experience, known for his massive catalog of Oldies, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s favorites. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in the U.S., he brings warmth, rhythm, and a deep love for classic songs that make people smile, sing, and reminisce.

Jayson is a professional drummer with years of live experience, providing tasteful grooves, dynamics, and just the right amount of punch. Together, they lock in as a tight, musical rhythm section that can sit comfortably in the background or carry the energy of the night.

With over 400 songs in rotation, Echoes & Rhythm can lean into Oldies and 60s, spotlight 70s soft rock and classic rock, or branch into 80s–00s sing-along anthems. The duo is perfect for corporate events, private parties, holiday gatherings, and venues that want live music that feels big, but still lets guests enjoy their conversations.

If you’re looking for nostalgia, great tunes, and a live show that feels like a soundtrack to your guests’ favorite memories, Echoes & Rhythm is a perfect fit.

Here are our general technical needs to keep things simple and smooth:

Performance Space
A small to medium area is usually enough for the duo: space for a drum kit, a small pedalboard/monitor, and Marcel with guitar and mic. We can comfortably fit on most small stages or in a corner of a room.

Power
One standard 120V outlet (within 25–50 feet) is usually all we need to power our Bose PA and basic equipment. We bring our own extension cords and power strips.

Sound System
We typically bring our own Bose PA system, which works great for small to mid-size rooms and events. For very large venues or outdoor festivals, additional PA can be arranged if needed (at an extra cost and with prior discussion).

Setup & Breakdown
We usually arrive 60–90 minutes before the scheduled start time to set up and soundcheck. Breakdown typically takes about 30–45 minutes after the performance.

Microphones
We provide our own vocal mics and can offer a microphone for basic announcements or a toast if requested in advance.

Lighting
Basic lighting is appreciated if the venue has it. We can perform without special lighting, but house or stage lights that allow guests to see the band and each other make the experience better.

Volume
We understand how important volume control is, especially for corporate events, dinners, and private parties. We’re happy to work with your preferences and the venue’s guidelines.
