Mike did such an amazing job at my wifes bday party....The setlist was perfect, the sound level was just right and the tunes were awesome....I could not recommend Mike more highly for a great night of music and fun....

I hired Mike for my 40th Birthday party which was in a small, private room at a wine bar with about 10-12 people. He was EXACTLY what we needed - He can play literally any type of music, and turns it up or down depending on what is going on. It was amazing that he needed essentially no instructions / guidance - he is very smart, and reads the room and the people. On top of that, he is incredibly talented. Being able to play all of those instruments is amazing!

What to expect
My audiences will see music tailored to the event. If I start playing during a dinner, or more subdued reception, I will lay back, with more "chill" material and lower volume. Depending on the event, I will ramp up as the guests get more comfortable, all the way to full on dance mode. Or I can come out swinging from song #1!
I know how to "read the room" and pivot as needed, and am very flexible with announcements, changes etc. The client will let me know - engage with the crowd, or be "sonic wallpaper." Either way is great for me!
The volume will be perfect - engaging but never too loud. I have 100% control over my audio.
About
I'll work backwards!
The favorite part of my musical career is what I'm doing now: an engaging solo looping performance that "sounds like the record." I have curated an amazing mix of classic rock, R&B, Top 40, blues and more, songs you will know and love. I "loop" all the parts live in each performance: vocals, keys, guitars, bass, with killer drum tracks. Nothing is pre-recorded, it's organic and very fun to watch. I have super-high quality sound, at the perfect volume, in stereo (bands can't do that!). Played with SOUL. I love what I do. I've had great success playing all over North Georgia for private parties, frats, corporate events and non-profits. My reviews are top-ranked on Thumbtack.
Prior to that, I played for 20 years in a top 7-piece cover band at top Atlanta venues, including performances with Chuck Leavell (Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers) and Francine Reed (Lyle Lovett). I've also had radio airplay on all top ATL stations (originals, and a Braves novelty song). My original material is on iTunes, and has been highly ranked on many music sites. I played throughout the southeast during my college years, and in bars all around Orlando during high school (can't do that anymore!).
Additional booking notes
I bring the appropriate amount of gear for each gig, including my own PA and lighting, unless the venue provides that. Even with the full rig, I can fit within 10x10 ft, with 1 electrical outlet.
