Firstly, you are expecting a violinist that can play professional repertoire at the professional level. This means that he has has played the professional standard of various music mediums including orchestral music, chamber music, solo music, concerto music, sonata music, etc. While it doesn't mean that he has every violin piece under his belt, he sure has the level to learn it and play it at a performance standard. Secondly, you are expecting a violinist who has perfect pitch, can improvise, and can compose. This means that while sheet music for a requested song is preferred, David can use his ear to improvise along simple harmonic progressions while playing with rock or pop bands and he can arrange violin music for a song that has no sheet music available for his instrument. Lastly, David brings a great amount of energy to wherever he performs at, elevating the soundscape of your event to a whole new level.

David Xiao has been playing violin for 14 years and is currently studying at Vanderbilt University Blair School Of Music in Nashville, Tennessee. In his Precollegiate life, he has received several first place awards from senior leveled competitions hosted by the Florida State Music Teachers Association and the Florida Federation of Music clubs, served as concertmaster at highest ranking ensemble for Florida All State Orchestra, Florida Youth Orchestra, New World Symphony Side by Side's Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony Performance, and received a nomination from the Miami Herald Silver Knight Award and a scholarship from Columba Bush's Arts for Life Foundation. In addition to his listed achievements, he has also performed at Carnegie Hall and played under the baton of Michael Tilson Thomas. As a person currently in college, David wants to use his knowledge and experience in the music field to benefit those who are seeking his talent to elevate their event as he has a lot under his belt he can deliver.
