Dwayne Charles Project

New Orleans born multi-talented Dwayne Charles is one of the Bay Area's up-and-coming contemporaries.  Musically gifted, Dwayne began playing the trumpet in his youth.  He went on to join the marching bands of his high school and jazz band in college.  During this time, he formed numerous bands and travelled from Louisana through out the United States playing numerous venues.
Before landing in San Francisco he began playing keyboards and guitar and soon became minister of music at his local church.  He has studied at the renown Globe Recording Institute, where he met his mentor, Maestro Curtis, and learn to be a master at computer music technology.  
Dwayne brings a fresh and explosive sound.  By infusing his own New Orleans roots with a blend of jazz, gospel & multiple genres, he brings a spice of global hybrid tunes that are timeless. He is currently available serving as musical director and leader of his own group, the "Dwayne Charles Project."
