Carolina “Coi Coi” Duncan is a professional clown, circus artist, and educator, and the founder of Duncan Playful Circus. A former Ringling Bros. performer and Cirque du Monde–certified instructor, she creates interactive, high-quality circus experiences that blend play, skill-building, and storytelling for all ages.
Self-contained performance. Can adapt to indoor or outdoor spaces. Family-friendly, bilingual (English/Spanish) available. Ideal for schools, libraries, parties, and community events.
My work is influenced by Cirque du Soleil’s social circus (Cirque du Monde), physical theater, and clown traditions that center humanity and connection. I’m inspired by artists like James Donlon, Avner the Eccentric, Slava Polunin, and contemporary social circus practitioners who use play as a tool for transformation. I also draw from Latin American storytelling, Caribbean rhythms, and my background as an athlete to create work that is both poetic and deeply embodied.
Open flat space approx. 10x10 ft (larger preferred). Audience seated in front. Minimal setup time.
