I play in a jazz guitar duo, and I book private events such as weddings receptions, retirement home events, anniversary or birthday parties, etc. As a duo, my music partner and I play jazz standards (American Songbook), rhythm and blues, bossa nova/latin jazz, and even some original jazz. We also enjoy taking requests if we happen to know the music.

audience will see a laid back jazz guitar duo that has an extensive repertoire of music. We play at appropriate volume levels for your event. If asked to turn up, we will; however, we play jazz at relatively reasonable volumes so people can still chat quietly if needed. We also take requests and can easily sightread music on the spot if is in our songbooks. The audience can expect some familiar melodies, some new melodies, and tasteful improvised solos with beautiful harmonies.
I am a teacher and performer in the triangle area. I primarily play jazz gigs with small groups in a variety of settings.
We bring everything. All we need is a nearby outlet and and 2 chairs.
All of the great jazz guitarists throughout history: Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Django Reinhardt. We also love to play the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim and many of the Brazilian jazz standards.
