August 3, 2025Entertaining evening
They provided just the right performance at my daughter's birthday at a small family event at a rural cabin. They adapted well to the setting and delivered a pleasing mix of bluegrass standards and special requests.

May 19, 2025Excellent music!
My husband wanted bluegrass music at his funeral. The Doug Flowers Band came through with flying colors at his Celebration of Life. They arrived early, set up quickly and began their wonderful music as our guest arrived. Very nice gentleman, easy to work with. Thank you for a great afternoon.

August 10, 2023A fantastic experience
Doug Flowers Band is a fantastic band. We hired them to play at a laid back outdoor celebration - and we received so many comments from the guests about how good the music and performance was. They played at a stage in the tent and guests could easily have conversations, the sound was great and volume also worked well for dancing. The band is super professional and at the same time so friendly and easy to work with.
I would highly recommend Doug Flowers Band and would book them any time again when I need Blue Grass music.

What to expect
Professionals in their sound and appearance. The group is entertaining and performs classic bluegrass to contemporary and also a few originals in the mix. Their use of humor is always clean and appropriate and is never overdone.
The band is very easy to work with and will leave you wanting to see them perform again.
About
The Doug Flowers Band is a group of bluegrass musicians from near Augusta, GA. Doug is a veteran bluegrass musician, who performed with Betty Fisher, Little Roy & Lizzy & Clinton Gregory.
Doug and his excellent group have produced their first band release called "Brothersville." The title is appropriate as the Flowers brothers live in Hephzibah, GA, a town which before 1870, was the village called Brothersville.
The Brothersville theme continues with Lamb brothers Joshua & Aaron. Aaron’s original instrumental “Brothersville Breakdown” compliments the theme of the recording. Ed Dalton, a N.C. native, completes the group.
