December 5, 2025I am one of the leaders of a neighborhood group in Philadelphia, PA and we throw community parties a couple times a year. I hired Skott stotland twice and he did absolutely amazing both times! He walks on things like broken glass, he hammered a nail into his nose, he did all kinds of things that humans should probably not do. Lol But it was impressive and he appears to enjoy it. And the community group members were happy to participat when he asked if people wanted to volunteer to do stuff. He was extremely friendly and followed all the guidelines that we needed him to follow. For example, one thing we had to confine broken glass/ dangerous stuff to a small space and he did wonderful with the limitations that we gave him in that small space environment. So if you are having any kind of event where you need a really engaging and exciting performance where people will just be staring with their jaw dropped in amazement, hire this person. He is very reliable, he brings everything he needs and he cleans up very well after himself. For example, I did not have 1 oz of concern that there was going to be a dot of broken glass/remnants of stuff or anything left behind. 10 out of 10. I would 100% highly recommend this fellow for your event!

Doktor Skott has been performing sideshow off and on since the mid 1990s. They are a former member of the Bianky Bros CircoBizarro and the Faust Family Zirkus von Bizarren. Their extensive repertoire of sideshow stunts runs the gamut, from the human blockhead and straitjacket escapes to smashing their fingers with animal traps and walking on broken glass. In the words of Jim Rose, "to call Doktor Skott a one-person ten-in-one would be underselling them."
