She also sparks audience interaction and gets people dancing! Lorenda is certified in fire safety, brings a fire safety technician to events, and is well-versed in applying for flame effects permits. She also carries the E29 license to fire perform in NYC.

Lorenda was absolutely amazing! Her fire performance was mesmerizing, showcasing a stunning variety of fire props and dance styles that kept us captivated from start to finish.

What to expect
Lorenda will provide exciting, professional and passionate entertainment for your guests! She loves to interact with the audience, happily poses for photos, and encourages people to get up and dance! Upon request, Lorenda will even give a mini bellydance lesson at your event. Kids love her, often asking if she is a "fairy princess" when she performs with her wings. She is just as likely to bellydance to Arabic music as she is to electronic, rock or other genres. She is very flexible, can customize a playlist to your liking, and will perform in almost any space or venue.
Additional performers, including belly dancers, fire acts, hoop dancers, circus performers and more, can also be booked to accompany Lorenda. Lighting, special effects (including bubbles, fog and snow), LED installations, DJing, photography and videography can be provided by associate company Open Show to make your event even more spectacular!
About
Lorenda has been belly dancing professionally and mesmerizing audiences since 2009 as a solo artist, with internationally acclaimed Soraya’s Mid-East Dance and Music Productions, the Burning Hearts Fire and Light Theater, the Daughters of Terpsichore troupe, and more. She has performed at events ranging from the traditional to the offbeat, including the Tropicana casino in Atlantic City; festivals such as Burning Man, the Phoenixville Firebird Festival, and Return to Roots Gathering; weddings; corporate events; bridal showers; restaurants; nightclubs; birthdays; ladies' nights; art gallery openings, and more.
Lorenda is also a bellydance instructor who provides solo and group workshops, and lessons at special events.
Additional booking notes
* Lorenda will provide a music set list on an iPod that will be given to the DJ. If there is no DJ or stereo system, Lorenda will provide a portable amplified speaker. Lorenda can customize your set list with almost any music.
* If Lorenda is booked to fire perform, a trained fire safety person will accompany her to the event and provide two CO2 fire extinguishers and fire blankets. This person will ensure the safety of the audience and the venue by maintaining a safe 15-foot perimeter around the fire performance at all times, keeping watch over the audience and the fuel depot, and following other types of fire safety protocol conforming to national and local fire codes.
* If requested to fire perform in a public space or venue, Lorenda must contact the local fire marshal to obtain a "flame effects permit." Please allow at least two weeks notice in order to ensure a permit can be obtained in time. Every town's fire department operates under a different schedule, so a month's notice is optimal.
* Please be mindful of weather conditions, including rain and wind, if a fire performance is planned for outside. Providing a rain date, high awnings or a tent, or the option of a show with LED and glow props inside are good alternatives. Lorenda can also bellydance inside with palm candles and a candle tray balanced on her head. Some venues are OK with this, and permits are not always needed for candle dancing like they are with larger fire props.
* Lorenda will travel nationwide. She requires additional payment for the cost of a hotel and transportation for any gig farther than 125 miles from Atlantic City, NJ.

Lorenda is an eclectic performer, and she is just as likely to bellydance to Arabic music as she is to electronic dance music, rock, or other genres. She can customize a music set list for you with almost any kind of music.
Setup requirements
If Isis wings are requested, they may not be used in a room with low ceilings.
A separate safe space must be provided for the fuel depot that is at least 15 feet away from the performance area, the audience, and smokers.
Fire performing must be done outside unless an inside performance is authorized by the local fire marshal and the venue owner.
A safe space for fire performing must be designated where the audience will stand at least 15 feet away from the flames at all times.
If a sword performance is requested, it should be done away from any foot traffic, especially if alcohol is served.
