We knew from the beginning that we didn’t want your typical “wedding DJ”— someone working off a strict playlist, clicking play, and not actually reading the room. We wanted a real DJ. Someone who could mix, read the crowd, keep the energy up, and truly make the reception feel like a party. Nico was exactly that and so much more.

From our very first meeting, Nico was incredibly down to earth, organized, thorough, and easy to connect with. Throughout the planning process, we had multiple meetings to make sure we were all on the same page, and he consistently made us feel confident that everything would be handled. When the wedding day came, he absolutely exceeded every expectation we had.

Our setup wasn’t exactly simple either. Our ceremony, speeches, and first dances took place in and around the barn, while the main dance floor and DJ setup were outside. Nico made sure every area was properly set up with audio, microphones, and music, and everything was flawless. The ceremony audio was perfect, the speeches and dances went off without a hitch, and he kept our entire timeline moving seamlessly.

One thing that really stood out was how involved Nico was throughout the night. He used wireless capabilities to cue music while staying inside the barn so he could make announcements directly in front of our guests instead of being stuck outside behind the DJ booth. It may sound like a small detail, but it made everything feel so much more personal and professional.

And then came the dancing.

Nico MIXED like an absolute mad man. He read the room perfectly, transitioned songs flawlessly, knew exactly when to change things up, and kept the energy going all night. Our dance floor was genuinely the fullest dance floor we have ever seen at a wedding—and yes, we know we’re biased, but it was literally PACKED. Our guests were dancing nonstop and having an absolute blast.

We also threw some extra things his way, including our “Pay to Play” song menu to help raise money for our honeymoon, and he helped coordinate that flawlessly as well. No matter what we asked of him, he made it work and made it feel effortless.

Nico was everything we hoped for in a DJ and played such a huge role in making our wedding day as special as it was. We truly cannot imagine having used anyone else. Even now, our guests still talk about how incredible the DJ was and how much fun they had.

We cannot recommend Nico enough. If you want someone who is professional, organized, personable, genuinely knows how to DJ, reads the room, and knows how to throw an unforgettable party—book him.

Nico is a joy to work with throughout the whole wedding process. We had a meeting a few months out to go over timing, special dances songs, etc. he asked all the right questions and was super detail oriented!
