Working with Emily was a treat! We hired her to DJ our employee winter social, and loved that she had a library with a wide variety of music to cover everyone's favorites. Emily responded to us very quickly, which I appreciated as we were on a tight timeline. She was able to schedule a quick call with us, and she asked really great questions about timing, any songs that might be inappropriate for the setting, and more about the attendees. She also went above and beyond to work with our talent (drag queens) to manage their audio, cue their songs, and keep the flow going. As an event planner, DJ Mami Miami was a dream to work with and I can't wait to hire her again!

We had her play at our annual gala event on September 19, 2025 at the Portland Art Museum and she brought incredible energy to both the cocktail hour and our after party celebration. This year, we had her bring DJ Tati with her to play during the after party and the excitement they both created as a duo worked so incredibly well. The guests were dancing nonstop from start to finish during the after party and it was a challenge to close the party down. Everyone wanted to stay and dance longer!

Emilly was the DJ and MC for our wedding reception!

Emilly's offered services are well-organized and clearly outlined. When we had questions or needed clarification about anything, she was quick and detailed in her response.
The questionnaire and meeting we went over with her before our event helped us consider elements that we didn't even think of during our overwhelm of wedding planning.
She also assisted us with editing our first dance song, and discreetly helped me coordinate a surprise song + dance that I performed for my husband during our reception.
I already knew I loved her DJ sets after attending events she DJ'd in town, but I was also ecstatic to find that in addition to playing music that she specializes in, she encouraged and was sure to include any type of music that we wanted for our party.

Emilly was an absolute dream to work with! She provided so much support throughout the planning process and even went as far as to offer her tiara for me to wear on my double quinceañera (it was gorgeous!). When I became overwhelmed by the amount of planning left to do, Emilly was compassionate and flexible. Her ability to create the exact vibe you need at your event is unparalleled.
