Your personalized quote will outline the coverage hours, services, equipment and any applicable travel charges. We’ll confirm whether your event needs ceremony sound, MC support, lighting or separate setups so you know what is included. GigSalad’s separate service fee will appear at checkout.

Before the event, we’ll confirm access, setup time, power and placement with you or your venue. We arrive with time to set up and check the agreed sound, microphones and lighting before our scheduled service begins, subject to venue access.

Equipment is selected around your event’s size and needs. We’ll discuss outdoor arrangements and any venue sound or lighting restrictions in advance.

Whether it’s a milestone birthday, reunion, anniversary, graduation or holiday gathering, we’ll build the music around the occasion and the mix of guests.

We’ll discuss your audience, music guidelines and event schedule. Background music, announcements, presentations and dancing can each have their place, depending on your plans and selected services.

Power and equipment placement

Every Book Afterglow event requires at least one dedicated 20-amp electrical circuit near the DJ setup.

Events with substantial stage or dance-floor lighting generally require two separate dedicated 20-amp circuits. We’ll confirm the exact requirements for your selected equipment before booking.

Additional powered speakers or lighting placed elsewhere in the room or outdoors will need suitable power nearby. Multiple outlets may share one circuit, so we’ll coordinate power availability with you or your venue.

For setups spanning several areas, please provide a simple layout showing the planned DJ, speaker and lighting locations and available electrical outlets. Photos or a walkthrough can help us plan the arrangements. More straightforward setups can usually be discussed without a detailed floor plan.
