Hi, my name is Dylan. I am the founder of a new up &coming acoustic band called "DirtyBlackLungs". We play a very wide variety of acoustic music but mainly indie/folk/funk/soul and we're passionate and energetic. As a three piece band we do an exceptional job of working the crowd and stage. More shows are definitely needed. Anything from festivals, tours, to intimate coffee house sessions. We do and love it all. This is our passion, our lively hood and we'd love to share what we have to offer with all of you.

Expect an intimate and fun experience from our music. We have a lot of fun doing what we do and we hold notjing back. We play for you like we've known you our whole lives.
We are a 3 piece band birthed January 16th 2013 by me Dylan Humphries, we are between the ages of 20 & 24 all from Lufkin,Tx. We grew up together and have been tight nit friends, thick as thieves. Music is what our beloved passion, I can't express in words what it truly means for each of us but you can definitely tell when we play live that our minds, hearts and souls are in it. We enjoy traveling to play new venues and make new friends. We aren't starving musicians but we are starving to be heard because we really have fun doing this and so does the crowd when we perform. Catching smiles, the sight of folks dancing, the sound of hands clapping and the light tap of toes is such a great thing for us to wintess as "The Band". So book us whenever wherever and we'll be sure not to disappoint. ;)
We do have lighting equipment just incase you do not. Amps as well.
We play mostly orginals unless we are required play longer which in that case we play covers as well.
