Deryck Richardson

Deryck speaks on a variety of topics, but all of the speeches use the same techniques. Crowd interaction, personal stories, examples to draw on emotions, comedy and candidness.

Deryck is the President and CEO of Richardson Marketing Group and a serial entrepreneur. Richardson Marketing Group was founded in 2015 as a marketing firm specifically designed to enhance the customer acquisition efforts of insurance agents. Today RMG has custom campaigns to help any small business increase their business. RMG is a three time "Best Places to Work" recipient in the Columbus Metro Area and a two time "Fast 50 recipient."

In addition to RMG, Deryck is a partner with Freedom Direct Life Insurance Services, co-owner of In the Black, LLP and the President of Black Label by Deryck Richardson. Deryck is also a speaker and published author. His book Go Play: The Ultimate Road Map to Winning the Game of Life was published in 2020 and can be found at Barnes and Noble, Amazon, and Walmart. Black Label is an umbrella company that houses Black Beans Brew, an exotic coffee line, and Blackwoods a custom accessory business.

His efforts with In the Black, LLP will include throwing The Nothing's Bigger than Small Business Summit at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in May of 2023. This is an excellent opportunity for large scale companies to sponsor an event that focuses on the growth of small businesses as well as an opportunity for small businesses to purchase affordable vendor tables to get their business in front of thousands of guests.

When Deryck isn't nose deep in work, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife Desiree, their four children and their two grandchildren.
