Overview
As a woman in ministry, my goal is to encourage people to activate their faith and implement a Philippians 4:13 mindset, so that they can become the person God has designed them to be. Life is hard and we live in an unpredictable world, causing us unnecessary stress and frustration. When I speak to congregations, I speak from the heart and my mission is to inspire the hearts of listeners to trust God, and to possess "mustard seed" faith. If you are looking for a fun, motivational, memorable speaker, I would love to speak with you about your upcoming event.

What to expect
Audience members can expect to feel refreshed, encouraged, informed, and inspired, after they experience me speaking. One thing about me, is that I love to share inspiring stories, and my personal testimonies to help inspire and transform hearts. Before I speak to your audience, I will meet with the event planner or event chairman to discuss the goals of the event, so that I can ensure that I meet the expectations of your event. I love to WOW the audience and positively impact individuals, one person at a time. While I am on stage, please know that I am authentically me and I truly feel that audience members will experience a great change after I am finished speaking.
About
Demetria Gilkey is an author, motivational speaker, confidence and mindset coach, and trainer. She is originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing in 2008 from Western Kentucky University and she also earned her Master of Theology in Biblical Studies from Campbellsville University in 2020. She just released her new book, Lessons Learned: A Woman’s Devotional for Living a Peaceful and Joyous Life. She loves to dance, cook, and eat good food, as well as spend time with her husband, Aaron and her baby girl, Bellamy. She is known for her fun, energetic, and contagious personality, as well as her bold colors. She believes that life is short and that you should activate your faith, pursue your passions, and blossom into who God created you to be.

I do not perform songs, unless the spirit leads me to. My main service that I provide is transformational speaking and inspiring hearts through ministry.
Influences and inspiration
I love women in ministry, such as Joyce Meyer, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and Beth Moore. They are all so knowledgeable, down to earth, funny, and admirable. I am my own person, but I absolutely love these women in ministry.
