Delia Smith Flute

Delia Smith currently attends Cypress Lake High School Center for the Arts in Fort Myers, Florida. She has played flute for 5 years, starting in grade 6. She is currently a member of the Naples Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, where she frequently plays flute 1. She has made All-County Honor Band every year since 2021, even earning second chair this year (2024). Additionally, she has received superior ratings on three solos over the years, the most recent being Sonatas in B minor by Johann Bach. Soloing in their 2023 show's ballad "Creep", the Cypress Lake Marching Pride received a superior rating at Marching Band Music Performance Assessment. She has been in the top offered ensemble at Cypress Lake since her freshman year and has experience in tutoring other students in their instrument. As an active member in the Center for the Arts, Delia helps out in her band's other ensembles by playing on alternate instruments, such as tuba and tenor saxophone. She is passionate about music and loves learning new instruments, styles, techniques, and anything that makes her a better musician.

Available to play with separately booked accompaniments- rehearsals required.
