David E. Elliott

A typical performance consist of a collection of easy-listening, original music, with an intricate, melodic, acoustic guitar foundation. The music is a mixture of instrumental and vocal/guitar creations, and helps create an enjoyable, relaxing, family-friendly experience.

David performs a melodic, finger-picking style of acoustic guitar music, with a collection of original tunes, compiled of innovative, creative chord progressions, displaying his own, unique approach. He writes, plays, and sings from the heart, with a mixture of instrumentals and ballads, presented with soulful articulation. David is from Rome, Georgia, and has performed throughout the years, as a session player on numerous recordings, and in various duos, trios, and bands. He now enjoys the opportunity to record and perform his original music, as a solo guitarist- singer- songwriter. Three of David's CDs have been released on the independent "Muttie Dog Records" label. Production requirements for me, are very simple! For most venues with an audience capacity of less than 200, where an extremely high sound pressure level is not required, I can provide my own sound. Electrical service with a dedicated, 120Volt AC/30Amp, grounded source, within 25 feet of the performance area, must be provided. For larger venues, such as outdoor festivals, large auditoriums, etc., suitable lighting, and a professional grade sound system, capable of providing smooth, even, coverage throughout the entire listening audience, is required. In these situations, I would require a vocal mic (SM58 or comparable), and an instrument line, for direct input. Also, I need a safe, unobstructed, performance area, with the minimum dimensions being approximately 6 feet x 6 feet. A stage or slightly raised platform is always appreciated. For outdoor venues, the performance area must provide protection for the artist and artist equipment, from harsh weather/environmental conditions!
