I play originals, great American songbook tunes, labor music, and covers of popular folk musicians such as John Prine, Jimmy Buffett, and Guy Clark. I tend to play mostly fingerstyle. I often tell stories or tell jokes while performing in addition to the music.

Great songs and stories are the products of experience and observation. I have been privileged to look into the most private areas of people's lives throughout my life. I have played music since I was 12 years old, but I've also worked as a registered nurse and as a trial lawyer. I have witnessed and experienced life's hardest moments and shared in joyful celebrations. I believe there is beauty to the world and the lives we lead. Through the music I play and the stories I share, I hope that I can provide an opportunity for the audience to see their own beauty, find hope, and be inspired to savor the experiences they've been given. My music is inspired by artists such as Guy Clark, Utah Phillips, Nanci Griffith, Livingston Taylor, and David Bromberg.
