Solo electric (and some acoustic) INSTRUMENTAL guitar music for all occasions. Sorry, I do not sing (at least not lead vocals). I provide live guitar with pre-recorded background music covering music from the 1950's through today. Your event's music will come through a small PA system that takes up very little space and can be as quiet or as loud as you like. :)

Instrumental lead guitar (electric and some acoustic) playing along to pre-recorded backing tracks of popular music from the 1950's through today. (Sorry, I do not sing).
I will provide my portable PA system for the performance, and I do have a microphone that event host(s) and/or guests may use for announcements.
Guitar player. Guitar teacher. Funny-looking guy.
Guitar player for 43+ years (I started in 6th grade, finally started sounding good somewhere around freshman year). Working musician (live performances, studio work, sub gigs, etc.) for about 37 years.
Guitar teacher for over 35 years (full time -ask the I.R.S.- for about 31 years).
Top 10 finalist in Guitar Player Magazine's Guitar Superstar Competition 2009.
Currently performing my solo instrumental guitar shows along with 6 great local bands (BlockStar, Mel Muzic, Mixtape Junkies, OMT, Prairie Surfers, and Turbo Shot).

As a guitar player, I've been influenced by so many guitarists. Everyone from Brian May of Queen (who inspired me to pick up the guitar) and all the other legendary rock players, to some of the more laid-back and melodic instrumentalists like Larry Carlton.
I enjoy playing instrumental guitar arrangements of popular music from all decades and almost all music genres. This gives me the change to not only play some big lead guitar rock, but also be able to play lead guitar emulating the vibe and dynamics of the singers of the vocal tunes I'm performing.
