Dave has been playing professionally since 1983, having performed solo guitar, duo, trio, and quartet. Prieto has released 4 CD's with his partner Leon Williams that can be found across the internet. Dave has performed with Akira Tana, Larry Hancock, James Levi, Don Payne, and has opened up for Tower of Power and Pete Escovido Latin Jazz. Dave has performed at many prestigious venues like the Julia Morgan Ballroom (SF), Yoshi's (Oakland), hotels like The Fairmont Hotel (SF), Claremont Hotel (Oakland), and Cavallo Pointe (Sausalito). Dave has also performed at exclusive country clubs and corporate events, along with festivals and private parties. Dave can cover any event, large or small, casual or formal.
