Songwriters are a cherished commodity in Nashville and the foundation block of the industry. I basically do 2 diff.types of performances. The songs and stories act caters to a more listening environment. Ive had a number of songs recorded by famous artists(Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw and others). I tell the stories of how the songs were written and how they got in the hands of these major artists, if requested, I bring another performer with hit songs and he tells his or her stories as well and we play and sing together, the interaction adds to the energy, but solo or duo, or trio... its always well received and memorable.
I also have a vast repertoire of cover songs from the 60s and 70s singer songwriter era. I play songs by The Beatles, Eagles, Jim Croce, James Taylor...etc. etc., take requests, kind of a "Piano Man" vibe, but on guitar. Great for either background music or as a show. I can also blend the two acts together playing original music and covers, whatever is desired.

As a songwriter, Dave has had three #1 songs on the Billboard Country Charts… Keith Urban’s “Without You”, Toby Keith’s “American Ride”, and Jimmy Wayne’s “Do You Believe Me Now” He has also had tunes recorded by Tim McGraw, Collin Raye, Whiskey Myers, Del McCoury Band, Lila McCann, Vince Herman (Leftover Salmon), Jake Hoot, Tyler Halverson, Meg McCree and many others.
As a performer/artist, Dave is 2 year veteran of the Country Throwdown Tour with Willie Nelson, Eric Church, Little Big Town, Jamie Johnson, Eric Paslay, and Montgomery Gentry. He has also shared the stage with Todd Rundgren, Leon Russell, and many others.
Most recently, Dave was featured on the AXS reality tv how competition called “Banded” as one of the producer/songwriter mentors for the competitors.
Its great to have lights, stage and sound provided in which I can give specs when needed to suit the number of guests. For most local shows, I can bring a sound system for a nominal fee added
