Both shows are cabaret style entertainment with Dan trumpet player/singer and the great musicians that back him up who are all featured as much as Dan. Dan Delgado is popular for doing a big variety of performances, types of music and different sized bands. If its a formal evening concert Dan has three 45 minutes shows ready to go.
Horn of Plenty: In this show Dan takes his audiences back to a time when the "Trumpet player was King!" A throwback to performers of the past like Herb Alpert, Chuck Mangione, Maynard Ferguson and the great Louis Armstrong. So if it's Spanish Flea, Feels So Good or some straight up New Orleans style jazz this is a feel good show full of stories, jokes and most important The Music!
Jump Jive and Wail: This is one of Dan's favorites bringing you the music, schtick and energy of the late trumpet entertainer Louie Prima. Oh, Marie, When You're Smiling, Night Train, Sing Sing Sing... etc. Dan brings the best hits of Prima. Hits so big even if you don't know the name "Louie Prima" you will know the music. This is another 45 minute show and a female vocalist is also available to join Dan and the band.
An Evening of Magic: This is Dan's newest show that will be premiered on a cruise liner 7/28/2018. Taking a more modern roll Dan features a varitety of music from the king of Fusion, Chuck Mangione. He also features some rock and funk from bands like Chicago, Tower of Power and Blood Sweat and Tears. In other words, Dan's dad would dig this show!
Besides putting on full production shows in theaters around the world Dan also plays many styles of music with different bands all over the states and the world. If you want Big Band, small jazz group for cocktail hour at your wedding reception or Dan can even play solo for your wedding or other celebration.
From Southern California Dan Delgado is a trumpet player/vocalist. Dan is usually busy traveling the world working as a Headliner for many cruise lines. He began playing trumpet at the age of 10 and since then has continued for the last 23 years. Performing in many different situations is one of his favorite things to do.
