Cornerstone: Becoming The Church

Pastor Chris is in the top 3 preachers I have heard in my life. I've lived in 6 countries.
He exemplifies the characteristics and qualifications in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. His life exhibits a genuine high degree of moral integrity, spiritual maturity and the tangible 9 distinct attributes of the "Fruit of the Spirit" in church, yet more importantly in his daily life with his wife, adult children, and members of church and the community. This leadership example of Biblical traits encourages his flock to follow God’s example.

His sermons and teaching are Biblically sound, thought provoking, and focused on deepening personal relationships with Jesus Christ. It is obvious that he intentionally devotes time studying the Holy Scriptures to learn what the LORD says to him and for the people he is called to Shepherd.

A unique difference in pastor Chris is his deliberate choice not to compromise the Gospel Truth. In today's horrific fallacy of that somehow Biblical correction and discipline is radically wrong and "do not judge anyone" teaching, he consistently shares God's Truth from scripture humbly and gently.

Pastor Chris has dedicated his life to preaching and teaching "the whole Truth and nothing but the Biblical Truth" and holds himself to the same or higher standards that he shepherds God's flock.  His sermons are engaging, interspersed with humor, and create a hunger to dig deeper and understand more. He has sincere compassion for each individual and willingly walks alongside through life's valleys.

It is extremely refreshing to see a pastor "walk the talk" sharing truth while accepting correction even amidst the onslaught of adversity in his life. He is well educated, scholarly in my opinion, combined with life experiences while engaging, down to earth and approachable, a spirit of humility, gentle, and willing to listen objectively while balancing it with discernment of the Holy Spirit. In a society where gossip and slander is rampant, even in some churches, he has an intense code of confidentiality.

Chris Webb is a dedicated faithful husband, father, and pastor who knows the difference between a vocation and occupation in relation to the Lord. He and his family’s servant hearts, teaching, reading, and musical abilities are incredible blessings to all those in his flock.
