Every event is different, but I usually play a lot of recognizable marches and airs like Scotland the Brave and Amazing Grace. We’ll talk through the exact details of your event on the phone ahead of time, and you can let me know if you have any special requests then.
If you think your event calls for more than one bagpiper, I can recruit other pipers and even drummers to form a band or mini-band.
I’ve been playing the highland pipes since I was 13 years old. In that time, I’ve performed at so many different kinds of gathering: weddings, sporting events, birthday parties, graduations, parades, music festivals, volunteer concerts, funerals, and more. Outside of gigs, I’m a member of a competitive pipe band, where I also volunteer as a piping instructor to keep the tradition alive.
I have a standard repertoire of traditional Scottish music that I usually stick to, but I can also take special requests such as Happy Birthday, military and patriotic songs, holiday and religious songs, alma mater songs, etc.
