I bring over 20 years of professional experience as a DJ and audiovisual engineer, including experience in radio, mobile DJ (with too many weddings to count), as well as nightclub, music festivals, and Burning Man events. Combining all this experience translates to a professional who will do everything to ensure your big day is a low-stress success!

No couple wants to be stressed on their big day, so that's why I really take the time to get to know you during planning meetings so by the time your wedding day comes, you can count on me to keep track of all the details and make sure you get the special day you dreamed about. If you need to deviate from the plan, I'm ready to rapidly pivot and engage the other vendors to ensure everyone is on the same page as the ultimate VIP, you.

My name is Charles, and I have been DJ'ing professionally since 2004, including DJ experience in radio, mobile DJ (including proms/school events, weddings, corporate events, etc), bars/clubs, music festivals, & Burning Man regional events. I launched my own company, CMount Productions, in late 2024.

I look forward to turning your dream event into a wonderful reality that you and your smiling, dancing guests will be gushing about for years. I'm looking forward to bringing my attention to detail, love for music, & tastefully programmed lighting to curate magical events to continue bringing smiles and packed dancefloors during the coming years. It's a truly magical experience feeding off the energy of the guests as they're eagerly waiting to hear what track will get mixed in next. I tailor every set for the crowd & client, with an extensive, diverse music collection, and I can mix seamlessly between tracks of various genres using BPM and harmonic theory to turbocharge the energy on the dance floor. I take the time during planning meetings to get to know you and understand your vision for a perfect, unforgettable event.

Background:
Played percussion in band in middle school, 2nd chair.
Interest in DJ’ing started in middle school, watching Michael Rainwater, DJ & owner of The Wave, perform various events. Offered job when I got older
Performed on QBSA radio station at National Scout Jamboree in 2001. Volunteered at the station in 2005.
High school - got into recording, music production, & rapping.
1st (paying) DJ job in 2004 - mobile DJ company (The Wave) based in Tulsa, Oklahoma (hometown).
Moved to STL to graduate from SLU with Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering in 2010
While at SLU, was college radio station weekly DJ at KSLU, along with DJ’ing at various parties and venues
After graduation, joined Electrolouis streaming radio (hosted weekly), then transitioned to online video streaming platforms (including Twitch), continued performing at various bars, nightclubs, mobile DJ gigs (proms, weddings/receptions, corporate & private parties), etc.
Music genres: He enjoys a diverse collection of music genres, especially electronic dance music (glitch hop, dubstep, D&B, trance / psytrance, house / electro house, breakbeats, electro soul, trap, hard dance), hip hop, rock, funk, jazz, and soul. You never know what you’ll hear in a DJ CMount mix, so if you haven’t heard him rock the decks, it’s time you do.
