Classic Burlesque w/a Latin/Hiphop twist

I offer many acts, from classic burlesque and bump & grind to Salsa music influenced, holiday, and themed acts. I have done several events and brunch shows where I move around the audience/crowd so everyone can see the show and feel like they were apart of it. I will be taking rhinestoned costume pieces off during my act and may have a prop like feather fans or a boa. I can perform once or more times during the duration of the event.

My name is Gatita Negra. I've been a burlesque performer for 6 years. I began burlesque in the Bay Area, California and have recently moved to New York City. I've performed around the United States as well as internationally in Como Lake, Italy, Panama City, Panama, and Mexico City, Mexico. I compete in burlesque festivals recently winning the Blerd Award at Revenge of the Blerds Burlesque show in 2021 for my Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde act. I do classic burlesque, bump & grind, Latin/Salsa music acts, feather fan and boa acts, brunch acts (acts made for moving around a large venue). I've worked as a greeter or character actor at events wearing rhinestoned gowns or handing out champagne in a tiered champagne dress. Let me help make your event glitter!

I will email my music to the event planner and/or bring a flashdrive with my music loaded on it. The lighting may be different based on the venue so I'll decide on lighting when I know more about the space. Most of my acts begin offstage but may need to be altered based on stage/performance space. After each performance, there would need to be a person who helps retrieve my showgirl droppings, and bring them back to me backstage. I get to the event venue early already in make-up. I would need a place to change into my costume and then observe the performance space to mark where I would move through the crowd. I will perform however many acts specified beforehand throughout the event, either on stage or allotted performance space, and can stay after the performance for photographs or ambiance.
