Circa Vida Entertainment (Circa Vida meaning "Circus Life") is a family friendly entertainment company that offers professional princess parties as well as a professional hula hoop dance troupe, The Dizzy Dolls. The Dizzy Dolls specialize in entertaining and instructing children's birthday parties, church and charity events, as well as local community festivals. We also teach hula hoop workshops to children in after school programs, Sunday school, and summer camps! Insurance: $10,000 - Commercial General Liability with Additional Insured Endorsement, Waiver of Subrogation, Primary Non-Contributory Endorsement – coverage that protects the insured against liability claims for bodily injury and property damage arising out of their operations. Legal Liability to Audience Participants – coverage that offers protection against bodily injury liability claims brought by persons participating in covered activities. Medical Payment for Audience Participants - coverage that pays the medical and dental expenses incurred by a participant when an accidental injury occurs while participating in your covered activities. The coverage is provided on a primary basis
For Princess parties, we'll have the princess of your choice come to your location dressed in absolute princess glamour! The princess will provide 1 hour of entertainment that includes a meet and greet, photo time, games, singing and dancing, and more! If you would like additional time and entertainment, or more than 1 princess character, we will be happy to accommodate any request!
Birthday party - $120/hr. $10 additional per 10 miles beyond 20 miles from business location.
The Dizzy Dolls normally entertains as a 1 hoop dancer per hour, however, we can accommodate any event request!
Birthday party/Workshop - $150/hr: The hoop dancer comes dressed up in a circus-like outfit and equipped with hoops for the children to use, a speaker, and family friendly music to make the atmosphere fun, energetic, and exciting! She will give a small introduction to the children and does a performance. She then teaches them how to hula hoop and perform simple hoop tricks. She also has the children play games based around the hoop. If you are interested in the hoop dancer using an led hoop, there is an extra $25 charge. $10 additional per 10 miles beyond 20 miles from business location.
Hoop Dance for a festival or event - $150/hr: The hoop dancer comes dressed up in a circus-like outfit and equipped with hoops for the children to use, a speaker, and family friendly music to make the atmosphere fun, energetic, and exciting! You can choose which hoop you would like the hoop dancer to use: a simple decorated hoop, an led hoop, or a fire hoop. There is an extra charge for led - $25 or fire hoop - $50. The hoop dancer performs for 15 minutes with a 5 minute break for a total of 3 performance sets an hour. $10 additional per 10 miles beyond 20 miles from business location.
All Acts require a 50% deposit and the gigsalad booking fee.
Circa Vida Entertainment (Circa Vida meaning “Circus Life”) was inspired by owner Amber Guzak’s love for all things circus, dance, and performance. Amber was taught the art of hoop dancing by her sister (who is an accomplished aerialist and hoop dancer, herself) Brande Lee and was also apart of Brande’s dance troupe, Elevated Aerial Dance, in 2012 in Jacksonville, FL. Elevated Aerial Dance performed and traveled for many shows, night clubs, and family festivals throughout the state of Florida. Amber also was contracted by another entertainment group, Sugar Plum Entertainment, to perform and instruct children’s birthday parties, summer camp workshops, and family community events in and around Jacksonville, FL. Amber brings that love and experience for family entertainment to Colorado in the form of Circa Vida Entertainment! Circa Vida Entertainment services include professional princess parties, The Dizzy Dolls hoop troupe, ambient aerial performances, and live art creation! Here at Circa Vida, we love circus life!
Princess Party Gigs: Please provide an air conditioned space for the princess, as a hot space can make for an uncomfortable princess and not so magical pictures.
Hoop Gigs: The Dizzy Dolls provide hoops, fully dressed in a circus-like costume (or can be catered to your theme), a speaker, and family friendly (but fun!) music. The hoop dancer will need an outlet to plug her speaker into and, if weather is not fair, a covered space to perform under that is big enough to hoop in.
