June 17, 2026Great communication and brought lots of fun to our event!
Mark had great communication leading up to our event, which was very helpful as we planned out logistics. He was flexible and brought the caricatures to the families throughout the Block Party, which made it more accessible and fun for our guests! He had a good eye for capturing fun moments to draw, going above and beyond to make the event special.

December 21, 2025Wonderful addition to our Christmas Party
Mark was wonderful. He was on time, super friendly, and engaged with everyone so well. People loved their caricatures and it was a really fun element to our Employee Christmas Party this year. I will definitely hire him again for another event!

What to expect
I work from a messenger bag over my shoulder and clip board in my hand. I draw sitting as well with black marker putting up to 8 heads on each page. I have some light conversation with my subjects. This inspires more ideas to draw from. The paper is 11X17 and comes with clear plastic bag for protection. Couples are most fun as I can add a entertaining theme. I dress in Hawaiian Shirts, Dress paints or shorts and fadora / panama hats.
About
I began drawing caricatures at age 6. It was always a source of entertainment for me growing up. I drew caricatures of my teachers, friends and ship mates on the USS Midway when serving in the Navy 1975-79. I attended the Colorado Institute of Art from 1979-Aug.80. I started my business Sept. of 1981 working parties and trade shows. I had a monthly appearance on Blinky's Fun Club in the 80's. I most enjoy " Strolling and Drawing " from table to table at wedding receptions. Thank you.
Additional booking notes
I do well in average lighting situations. The Caricatures are given to each subject on the spot. Party Host likes to hang them up on the walls, post them on social media for all to see.
