This group has opened for national acts as diverse as the Temptations, George Benson, David Sanborn, The Supremes and Jennifer Holiday. They have also performed for Corporations such as Northwestern Mutual, Johnson Wax, Quad Graphics and Time Warner. The group also performs for festivals, special events, weddings and private parties. They are repeat performers at some of Milwaukee’s annual festivals, Riversplash, Summerfest, Rainbow Summer and Bastille Days to name a few. Christopher’s Project is lead by saxophonist Chris Pipkins, a three-peat winner at Showtime at the Apollo, a prestigious Theater in New York City that showcases the best of up-and-coming talent.

April 29, 2023Christopher came out to our library as the library foundation sponsored an evening of Jazz for National Library Week. Our patrons really enjoyed the evening, I heard many compliments from those that were there and they really enjoyed Christopher's playing and entertainment. We talked about a return engagement sometime, perhaps outdoors along the Rock River (which flows through downtown Janesville). Great sax player and entertainer.

Not so loud to be overbearing, but good enough for the guests to take notice but still easily carry on conversations. The booking process was easy, and set-up and take-down seamless.
