Overview

Bring the elegance and romance of live music to one of the most meaningful days of your life. I personally perform on both flute and cello and bring over 25 years of experience as a wedding and event musician to every celebration.

Choose from a wide range of ensemble options, from solo performances to full quartets, featuring flute, violin, viola, cello, guitar, harp, and piano. Each ensemble has a large repertoire list to choose from, and I can also create custom professional arrangements for special song requests that are meaningful to you.

I look forward to bringing your wedding day vision to life with the emotion and energy that only live music can provide.

Incredible performance and experience

Christen is an absolute gem, on all levels. From my initial connection with her, she provided a clear and thorough proposal, which turned into a well thought out set list for the evening of our event. Christen's communication throughout the process was timely and clear, and I know exactly what to expect on the day of my event. There will many many compliments from my guests about the range of music that Christen played (well known songs including musical scores), and her skill with her flute playing was top notch. Absolutely would bring Christen into any future event that I am involved in. I could not have been happier with her music, and to top it off, Christen is a kind, personable, and lovely human being overall. Highly highly recommend her to anyone!

About

I’m a professional wedding and event musician with over 25 years of performance and planning experience. I personally perform on both flute and cello, which allows me to offer a wide range of ensemble options and create a highly personalized musical experience for each couple I work with.

My background includes classical training and extensive experience performing at weddings, private events, and formal celebrations. Over time, I’ve learned that exceptional wedding music isn’t just about playing beautiful songs - it’s about thoughtful coordination and shaping the flow of the music so everything feels intentional and seamless.

In addition to performing, I’m also a professional music arranger. In addition to the large song lists available for each ensemble, I enjoy creating custom arrangements for couples who want a song that’s especially meaningful to them.

I personally handle all musical planning and coordination, working behind the scenes with planners and vendors while collaborating closely with you to ensure your wedding or event music reflects your vision from start to finish.

Additional booking notes

All we require is a location where we will be heard that is out of the way of guests. For outdoor weddings or louder indoor events, we may bring an amp and require a power outlet. We also may request chairs.
