The Sax Vibe by Claudiu Farcas

Claudiu was a highlight of our day. He was initially going to play only for our cocktail hour but also made arrangements to be at our ceremony on short notice (a surprise from my husband). He played some songs my husband requested and made our ceremony super special. The vibe was perfect for our intimate ceremony on a mountain.

For cocktail hour, we wanted a high energy event and Claudiu crushed it. He played songs that we requested across genres, including EDM. He made sure our cocktail hour was a fun time and made it memorable for all of our guests. He was the perfect addition to our entrace as well.

Claudiu was so reliable and easy to work with throughout all of this. We’re so grateful that Claudiu was a part of our day and can’t recommend him enough!

Where do I even begin with Claudiu?

Of all the saxophone players I came across while planning our wedding, there was one particular post on Claudiu’s page that made me know I wanted him. In the video, he was interacting with a guest, smiling, holding his instrument so lovingly and genuinely enjoying the moment, but even in the middle of that interaction, he was still listening. He was waiting for that perfect cue in the music, that perfect moment to let his art shine. The post is on Instagram from August 4, 2025 if you’d like to reference it.

The post said, “Mid convo and the perfect sax note hits.” That tiny moment told me everything I needed to know about him.

I could see the pure joy he had in sharing his craft with people.

When choosing someone to play at our wedding, it was incredibly important to me that I chose someone whose love for their art I could actually see and feel. Music means so much to me, and because of that, my saxophone player was genuinely one of the most important vendors I chose for our wedding. Claudiu has a love and passion for his art that is so deep, you cannot help but feel it when he plays.

He made our wedding day special in ways I will never forget.

I remember seeing him smile. I remember watching the sun hit his saxophone so beautifully. I remember looking at his instrument and thinking about the life it had already lived, all of the places it had been, all of the moments it had been a part of, and feeling so grateful that our wedding now got to become a small part of that story too. That meant more to me than I could ever properly put into words.

From the moment Claudiu arrived until the very last second before he left, he played beautifully. He was kind, professional, warm, passionate, and so visibly grateful to be on this earth sharing the gift he has been given. You can feel that gratitude in the way he plays.

There truly is not enough praise I could give him.

Our wedding is over, and I am already thinking of reasons to have him play for us again: holidays, birthdays, dinner parties, family gatherings, or simply another beautiful moment in life that deserves beautiful music.

Above everything else, I truly thank God for the gift He placed within Claudiu and for allowing that gift to be shared with me, my husband, our family, and our guests on one of the most meaningful days of our lives.

Claudiu, thank you for leaving a piece of your art within the memories of our wedding. We will carry it with us forever.

I found Claudiu on instagram a few months before our wedding, his social media posts were great but he truly blew us away on our special day! The energy he brought was unmatched! He played incredible songs and also learned a few songs specific for our wedding the week before. I truly couldn’t recommend him enough!! It’s been a month since our wedding and I still have family and friends saying “your sax guy was incredible!!! What a great addition to the night!” We are so thankful for Claudiu and his amazing talents! If I ever have another event where I’m in need of a sax player, he is who I am calling without a doubt, I couldn’t recommend him enough!!

Claudiu was SO IMPRESSIVE. Not only did our guests love his performances, but the general public kept asking to attend our event so they could watch him! If you're considering hiring him, DO IT! For our ceremony, we wanted live piano music and asked if he could learn two songs that were especially meaningful to us. He happily learned both of them and played them beautifully. Hearing those songs performed live on the piano made our ceremony so personal and emotional, and we are so grateful he took the time to make it happen.

Then during dinner, he switched to live saxophone, and it was honestly one of the biggest highlights of the entire day. I thought it would be great, but it was at least 10 times better than I had imagined! It created such an amazing atmosphere, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they loved it.

After dinner, he seamlessly transitioned into DJing and kept the dance floor full all night long. He did an incredible job reading the crowd and playing music everyone loved.
Beyond being unbelievably talented, he was also so kind, professional, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. If you're considering booking him for your wedding or event, do it—you won't regret it. He helped make our wedding day so memorable, and we're so thankful we chose him!
