Decades ago, as a young road comic, Chris had two young children and was away for half the year. After one six week stint, his then nine year-old daughter begged him to never go away for that long again. He never did.
Chris started his radio career knowing he could still make people laugh every morning and see his kids everyday. Despite a demanding schedule as a morning radio host, stand up comedian, and actor, he managed to coach little league, teach Sunday school, and be active in his local parent-teacher organizations over the years. Now he shares basic choices and simple actions others can take to achieve Life/Work balance.
Chris Zito hosts his own morning radio show on two stations, Mix 93-1 in Springfield, MA, and 96-1SRS in Worcester, Ma.
He is a recipient of the coveted “We Are Broadcasters” award from the Massachusetts Broadcaster’s Association. 
He also received the “Air Personality of the Year” from MBA in 2022, as well as The Merit Award in 2021.
He lives in Central Massachusetts with his wife and two daughters, along with two terrorist cats, and Louie the Flying Wonder Puppy
