Chouquette provides both burlesque performances and showgirl appearances.
She is perfect for adding a touch of glamour, elegance, and nostalgia to your event.

♡ Burlesque performances are usually 3-5 minutes per "act" (the length of a song or two). Performances are priced per act. Each act has a different theme, costume, and music.

♡ Showgirl appearances include ambient work, such as greeting guests, posing with props, and taking photos with guests. Ambient work is priced per hour (with appropriate breaks, and food/beverage, if available).

Experiences are bespoke—tailored to your specific event.

Policies (must-read):
♡ A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due upon booking

Chouquette, The Park Avenue Pinup, is a burlesque showgirl, published-pinup, custom-costumier, collector, archivist, researcher, and historian based in New York City.​ She is the muse of artist, Nina Bogyeong Son, of Le Boudoir Chat.

Formally trained in Art History, she is pursuing her Master’s degree in Costume Studies. She is the author of Diary Of A Showgirl, here, on Substack, where she writes about burlesque, fashion history, textiles, and the decorative arts.

Chouquette is a stripteuse evoking the nostalgia of a bygone era—existing only in film and in fantasy. Floating across the stage in pastel showgirl confectionery, she exudes feline and fairy-like poise with girlish charm.

Named for the French pastry itself, Chouquette is “a girl in pearled-sugar,” inspired by sugar, spice, and everything nice. Her costumes are sugary-sweet confections: sewn in silk and satin, and kissed in glass-cut crystal.

Dreaming of ballerinas, bombshells, coquettes, courtesans, and silver-screen starlets, she pays tribute to figures such as Anna Pavlova, Bettie Page, Cora Pearl, Gypsy Rose Lee, Jean Harlow, Lili St. Cyr, Mae West, Marilyn Monroe, Sally Rand, and Zsa Zsa Gabor.

From childhood board games like Candyland, to ballets like The Nutcracker, she infuses the beautiful with the delicious, manifesting her marshmallow and marzipan dreams. She performs across the country, captivating audiences with a wink and a smile, as she swans across the stage under soft lights as the Pastel Showgirl and the Sugarplum Princess.
