From Southern Gospel concerts to a keynote speaker for ladies events, retreats and conferences, Cheri Taylor would love to serve you! She’s been singing Gospel Music for 40 years sharing the love of Christ wherever she can! A few years ago she answered the call to Women’s Ministry with a passion of mixing her music with biblical teaching.
Cheri is an amazing performer with a voice like an angel. The best thing about Cheri other than her singing is her heart to draw others close to Jesus. You will not get just a concert with Cheri, but a worship experience. The people at our church loved her and we can't wait to have her back!

Gospel Concert: Each concert lasts from 60-70 minutes filled with a variety of upbeat to heartfelt Christian ballads with a country/bluesy flair. Throughout the concert you'll hear impromptu testimonies and stories of how God has worked in Cheri's life as well as those around her. Each concert has an evangelistic emphasis throughout.
Ladies Conferences, Retreats, Banquets: Cheri is also an author and speaker for special ladies events. Some of her favorite topics include "The Other Side of Broken", "Living as an Eagle" and "A Woman of Influence".
For the last 40 years, Cheri Taylor has faithfully followed the path that God has set for her in ministry. Blessed with a dynamic singing voice and an exciting stage presence, Cheri delights in a gospel music thrust at concerts and special events to present the Word of God to her audience. Before becoming a solo performer and recording artist, she traveled with a local gospel group in her home area of Santa Claus, Indiana.
As a soloist, Cheri has won three gospel talent searches and has had considerable national radio airplay with her music. Her latest recording project, Sing Hallelujah, is a collection of songs ranging from the beautifully arranged “God’s Great Love” to the bouncy, exciting “Trumpet of Jesus”. Familiar songs from the hymnal are here along with brand new music from some of today’s most talented writers.
Cheri has also become a well known speaker on a wide arrange of Christian topics for conferences, retreats, and seminars. She is a member of the Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists, and is endorsed by the North American Mission Board.
When Cheri is not actively engaged in her ministry efforts, she is heavily involved in the working of her local church. Her husband, Greg, works along side of her in every phase of her ministry, whether at home or on the road. “Greg has been so supportive of me,“ Cheri said. “Even through times of discouragement, he has been there, cheering me on.”
In the last few years, Cheri has been a part of a mission team that goes to minister in Jamaica. “The people are so warm and welcoming to our team,” Cheri said. “It is hard to see the poverty and need there, but at the same time, I’m so grateful for the opportunity that God has given me to make a difference in the lives of these precious people.” God has also opened doors for her in Eastern Europe as well as areas of the United States that are new for her ministry.
Cheri Taylor Ministries is a 501 © 3 Non-Profit Corporation.
When driving to a venue, I usually pack my own sound system which is the Bose tower system. If the room is too large to carry my system, I ask that there be someone to set up and run a run one for me. I also ask that an area with a table be available to display and sell my CD's and book.

From early childhood I've always enjoyed the sights and sounds of four part harmony Gospel Music! The Blackwood Brothers, Happy Goodman Family and the Hinson's are only a few. But as a child of the 60's and 70's and even into adulthood in the 80's the secular sound also had a profound affect on me. The Carpenters, Judd's and Reba still make me smile when listening to their smooth voices. And let's be honest, what alto wouldn't love to have that Karen Carpenter sound!
Complete sound system and tech to operate if I don't have my own system with me.
