Cathy The Barely Standing Stand-up

Cathy is sometimes blue, but she tries not to swear, but sometimes passion alters all her good intentions. She stays away from political, religious and racial material/subjects, unless asked. Cathy is a poet, as well, and often her performances include original limericks. Her love of language arises in her sets as she enjoys making fun of how people use certain words and phrases. She can perform 5 minutes of totally clean material, but prefers performing with few restrictions.

Catherine Perkins, aka, Cathy the Barely Standing Stand-up, has been performing comedy since 2016 and performing poetry for over 20 years. Cathy is also a published poet and has an upcoming collection of humor poetry, jokes, limericks and prose being published in 2023. Catherine has performed in MA, Rhode Island, Lexington and Louisville, KY , Cincinnati and Akron, OH, Buffalo, NY and GA.

I own my own small portable sound system that is fine for a small, 600Sq. ft. area, such as home, backyards, small bars. I have access to sound system and lighting people for additional cost. I can find venues too, if you need help with a place for your party. In fact, I can help set up a comedy show or a poetry reading and host/emcee as well. I cannot record the event or do hybrid, live and online events, but I have people who can do that. Their fee would be separate to mine or added on after I am hired.
