Influences and inspiration
Therese Schroeder-Sheker, Kim Robertson, Maeve Gilchrist, and many other lever harpists. I lean towards historical music, traditional songs of the old world, and early American folk tunes.
Irish, German, and English harp melodies and music inspired by the many troubadours of the Middle Ages, poets like Robert Burns, Fairy Culture and Mythological characters from Tolkien's legendarium (Enya and Annie Lennox), Irish Gods and Goddesses written about in stories of days gone by like the Tuatha de Danann, and the Irish urban legend tale of Cana Cludhmor, the miracle of love and how the Irish harp was invented. Cana in Gaelic means miracle maker and Cludhmor means famous for. The translation for Cana Cludhmor means famous for making miracles.
