With a degree from Belmont University, Cassandra combines the technique and precision of a classical background with the energy and improvisation of various fiddle genres.
With nearly ten years of touring experience, Cassandra has traveled the US (including the Virgin Islands) with various artists and bands. Her most recent and current being "Emo Orchestra.” She has traveled for weddings, weddings receptions, conferences, shows/events, and more.
Off stage, Cassandra understands the pressures, challenges, and demands that come with session work. Her professionalism and hard work are only some of the reasons she continues to be sought out by producers and tour managers.
Outside of playing acoustically, I do have the ability to be plugged into a system. I have a high quality pickup installed on my violin. If a DJ or PA System is provided, I can plug in so that I can be amplified over the system. This is not a requirement - just an option!
