Carlos Wallace is an award-winning author, leadership speaker, educator, mentor, entrepreneur, and U.S. Navy veteran whose work challenges audiences to think differently about character, influence, resilience, and success.

Before becoming a professional speaker and author, Carlos spent 23 years as a locomotive engineer while serving in leadership roles within organized labor. His experiences across the military, corporate America, education, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and community leadership give him a perspective grounded in real life, not simply theory.

Carlos is the author of several books, including Life Is Not Complicated, You Are and Why Sell Lies When the Truth Is Free. His work has been incorporated into educational settings, and he has spoken to students, professionals, executives, educators, and community leaders across the country.

He is also the creator of Character Capital, a leadership-development platform centered on the everyday decisions that shape character, judgment, communication, influence, and legacy. Carlos is a co-founder of VR Eval and serves as Head of Marketing & Community Engagement for Coming Home, a technology platform designed to strengthen connection between individuals and the professionals who serve them.
