I am a Maryland Institute College of Art alumni with a BFA in Visual Communications and Art Education certification.
I have 20 years experience in the professional caricature field, providing unique entertainment for public, private, and corporate events.
I am a 2015-19 Gold Award Thumbtack Artist for customer satisfaction. I am skilled at combining realistic facial features with cartoon-style line work to create crowd pleasing caricatures.
I am extremely patient with young children, and love interaction with people of all ages.
Laura was fantastic for my parents 50th wedding anniversary! Everyone was so surprised and excited to get in line to do a caricature! She was wonderful and felt like family at our event. She even stayed 2 hours over the time we scheduled because she was a huge hit at the party! Can’t wait to have her again!! Thank you Laura for making my parents party so memorable!

I hired Laura for my husband's surprise birthday party. I was thrilled to see how many people were excited to get their caricatures done. Everyone was so very happy with them! I will definitely use her again. She is an amazing artist!

Portrait artists, John Singer Sargent, William Waterhouse, Toulouse- Lautrec, Edgar Degas, Frida Kahlo, and Michelangelo are constant sources of inspiration in my work.
