I draw fast but without sacrificing likeness (15-20 faces/hr black and white, 12-15 faces/hr color). I realize that my fee is significant so you should expect me to work fast and hard. I don't take any breaks for the first two hours and then only a drink of water or a bathroom break for events longer than that. Although even at 20 faces an hour I will not probably draw all of your guests if it is a large event but I do feel that I entertain many more than I draw. My focus and strength along with great spot-on drawings is interacting with the guests and those surrounding us to watch. That is the real magic of caricatures!

I can provide multiple artists if the event size dictates but in any case, if you hire me, you are hiring me and not a staff artist who you know nothing about.

I also offer digital caricatures for an additional fee. Digital caricatures are caricatures drawn on the computer and displayed on a large 32" monitor or projector. The caricatures are then printed on the spot and can be emailed or downloaded to both your guests and the host as a memento of the evening. These are also in color as opposed to the traditional black and white caricature. These can also have pre-made backgrounds if you so desire which helps move things along. That is just another option that I would be happy to talk to you about if you would like.

Kurt has been entertaining as a caricature artist for nearly 40 years. Kurt's caricatures are individualized, head and shoulder, cartoon drawings done in black marker, colored pencil, or digitally produced that take only minutes to complete. This is a great supplement to your event's activities.

I am very self-sufficient, but typically I need two chairs provided and a fun audience. I can provide lighting if necessary, along with a 10' x 10' tent for outside events. Other than that, relax in knowing that your guests will be entertained not only at your event but for years to come when they look at their caricature in their family room or office and fondly remember the great fun they had at your event.
