Caricatures by Anson

From pen and ink drawings on paper to digital prints on stickers and cards — I offer a range of services designed to fit every occasion. I can draw you, your potential clients, family, friends or your pets working live or from photos! PEN AND INK DRAWINGS: I set up an easel and draw black-and-white caricatures with traditional materials like pen and pastel on paper. Great for weddings and parties. Drawings are placed into a clear plastic bag for safekeeping. Your logo and/or the name and date of your event can be pre-printed on each drawing by prior arrangement. DIGITAL CARICATURES: Drawn in Procreate on my iPad and printed out from my printer on 4"x6" photoprints or 2"x3" sticker cards, my digital caricatures feature playful, saturated colors. The drawing process can be recorded and be viewable on a monitor. Great for trade shows and high-tech events. All digital drawings are printed out and placed into a lanyard or plastic sleeve. Your logo and the name and date of your event can be printed on each card by prior arrangement. ROAMING CARICATURES: I roam around your party approaching guests and drawing color digital caricatures on my iPad. I print out a 2"x3" sticker on my mini printer of the subject and place the printout into a clear plastic bag for safe keeping.

Anson is a professional illustrator who has been producing art for the entertainment industry in one form or another for more than 30 years. You may have seen his animation work in video games like Full Throttle and Herc's Adventures or seen his animation of The Demon LeChuck in Curse of Monkey Island. He also has done storyboard work for animated films and shows like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Scooby-Doo, as well as live-action films like Christopher Robin, Wonder Woman and Fantastic Four. Anson is the co-author of a book about storyboarding.

Anson is also the founder of his own company, Caricatures by Anson, which is dedicated to spreading Anson's brand of caricature throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
