I am new to this platform, but far from new to the entertainment field!
For over 40 years, Ray Harris aka “rAyCaSsO “ has been putting a smile on people’s faces!
Raycasso uses markers and prismacolor pencils on archival paper and is protected in a clear envelope.
He averages 7 drawings per hour in black and white. Color versions take a little more time.
Raycasso has worked on 16 Disney animated feature films including:
The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King Aladdin, just to name a few…
Raycasso offers demonstrations in caricatures, live wedding and event paintings.

His fast painting is an indoor or outdoor activity. Reception areas are perfect for live painting demonstrations.
About
His love of drawing and painting he graduated from from Art Center College of Design and workied in Hollywood as a storyboard artist and illustrator. He worked as an animation artist at Walt Disney for over twenty years on sixteen feature films!

Raycasso can set up well before the event and provides the complete package (lighting, projection and all the art materials.)
Raycasso can customize your event to fit your needs.
Silhouette art is another service Raycasso offers. These 5 x 7 paper cuts are fast and unique. The artwork is protected in a plastic sleeve so the guests can frame them at a later time. Raycasso has developed his own style of executing his silhouette cuts.
LIVE PAINTING DEMONSTRATIONS
Generally, he works on medium size canvases with oil paints.. For wedding paintings, he uses his photographs taken from the special moments while the wedding photographer is also shooting their photographs. He finishes the artwork during the reception and reveals it to the couple.

Influences and inspiration
Of course, Ray has been influenced by many celebrated artists.
During the 80s, working at Walt Disney strengthened his skills as a draftsman and filmmaker. As a fine artist, Raycasso was always intrigued by the works of the turn of the century impressionists.
Ray loves to share his skills and inspire others to follow their dreams.
Setup requirements
Hand drawn Caricatures only need a couple chairs from the client, Raycasso brings everything else.
for speed painting, or live plein air, painting demonstration’s, Raycasso brings all the art materials necessary. Details may be worked out if there are any custom designs included.
