Candy's Comedy
Overview
Candy is a comedian known for her energy, sweetness and off beat wit.
She’s performed at many bars in the DMV area, her grandfathers funeral, and a preschool, no matter the occasion or the audience, Candy will bring the silliness.
Whether you’re 4 or 40, she’ll find a way to make you laugh. Her humor tackles parenting chaos, marriage, and growing up in the Midwest, all delivered with the unearned confidence of a dorky mom who has absolutely no business being this enthusiastic about it.

May 27, 2026Super family funny!
Candace is SO funny in her relatable comedy about mom life, family, all that comes with raising small kids. Even better, she made all the kids laugh when she performed at my son’s school. I can’t wait to see her perform again. In the meantime, I’ll keep following, liking, reposting, and dying laughing at her bits on Instagram.

May 27, 2026Energetic witty, intellectual humor with a twist
Candy is always professional, on time and ready to work. As a fairly new comedian( less than a year) she's quickly gaining footing in the local comedy scene and proving that's she serious about the craft. Most importantly, she's hilarious, she knows how to read a room and capture the crowd wherever she is!

About
Though new to comedy, Candy’s has been a joke her whole life!
Candy grew up on a Mark Lowry “Remotely Controlled” cassette tape, and in her teen years listened to Jim Gaffigan talk about hot pockets. In her college years she became a fan of Maria Bamford’s
dark but joyful style.
In 2024 Candy started joke writing of her own using motherhood as inspiration, in Jan 2025 she began performing and these took off from there!
Candy’s viral comedy series and original character work have built a dedicated audience of parents, Midwest folks, and people who have also googled something at 2am and deeply regretted it.
Her stand-up draws from a life that includes growing up homeschooled, her quirky family, two daughters, one husband who seems to put up with her antics. She tells you about this on stage with the efficiency of someone whose self-worth is entirely tied to productivity but also is desperately pretending to be chill.
Candy's comedy is observational with absurdist instincts — rooted in specific personal truth and aimed directly at the thing nobody in the room has said yet. She has been described as sharp, warm, and “a lot”.
Old people love Candy almost as much as they love Werther’s Originals.

Influences and inspiration
I grew up listening to the same Mark Lowry tape again and again. As a teenager I watched as many Jim Gaffigan specials I could get my hands on. Later I was highly inspired by Maria Bamford character building and abilities to talk dark topics with a smile that takes the edge off.
