August 10, 2017This isn't fair because he's my brother!
But he is still funnier than a sack of farts! Between the two of us there was never a dull moment in the house while we were growing up!!!

August 10, 2017Sore Cheeks Guaranteed!
Every time I see Campbell Shah perform, my cheeks hurt from laughing! I am also impressed that his humor holds up at any elevation, 25' (Hilo Town Tavern), 4000' (Kilauea Military Camp), 6500' (Pohakuloa Theatre) and 30' below ground (unspecified).

Lol... thanks so much. Maybe the altitude changes makes it funnier with oxygen deprivation...

About
Tom did stand up comedy and then had a 10 year break when he suffered some brain injuries in Iraq and Afghanistan. After that he quit getting on the stage due to not being able to speak well. He hit the rock bottom of his life at the time and tried to kill himself, when Teresa, who later became his wife, intervened and saved him from himself. Later they were married and she has helped him through his hard road of recovery.
In 2017, while one of Tom's favorite comedians, Josh Blue, was visiting Hawaii Island, Teresa put Tom on the spot and told Josh and Jose Dynamite, the comedy promoter for Hawaii, that Tom used to do comedy. Jose invited Tom to an open mic in Kona, Hawaii the next day and Tom held his word that he would do it. Tom knocked it out of the park when he went on stage, and a light turned on in his life that he had not had the courage to ignite since it was turned off ten years ago.
Since then, Tom has done numerous opening acts for comedians such as Bo Irvine, Graham Elwood, Sam Tallent, Paul Ogata, Mark Gonzalez, and more and also was featured on Comedy U and Jose Dynamite and Friends in Honolulu. Tom has also headlined shows such as "The Intelligent, Redneck, Hippy and the Hawaiian Jukebox" and the USO Presents "Vet to Troops Comedy Show" Tom has also hosted shows such as the "Big Island Local Comedy Showcase" Mark Gonzalez show, and the first annual Hawaii Island Wounded Warrior Project and Soldiers Undergoing Disabled SCUBA (SUDS) Benefit. Tom has been performing around Hawaii and the East Coast and is worked hard to build the comedy scene of Hawaii Island. Tom also competed in the Hawaii Island Comedy Tournament and took 2nd place in both the East and West side tournaments taking the top spot total.
Tom delivers a very humorous redneck look at growing up in a poor family in a small town in East Texas and experiencing the world. He has a unique story telling ability that can capture the interest of any audience.
