Calcifer was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very first notes played on the piano, the atmosphere in the room transformed. Residents, families, staff, and guests were immediately drawn to the dance floor, creating a beautiful celebration filled with music, movement, laughter, and connection.

The trio’s talent was remarkable. The pianist/vocalist, upright bassist, and drummer delivered a performance that was elegant, energetic, and perfectly suited to our “Fly Me to the Moon: Let’s Play Amongst the Stars” Senior Prom theme. Their music created an experience rather than simply providing entertainment.

I booked Calcifer as a surprise for my jazz loving then fiancee. From day one Calcifer was exceptional. They learned 2 songs for us, our first dance and my partner's favorite jazz song. I spoke with Cameron for the whole planning process, he was professional, quick to respond, and accommodating to every request. The band also did a great job pulling off the surprise, my husband had no idea what was happening. And finally, they sounded amazing. Every instrumentalist was extraordinary, I'm blown away at how reasonably priced they are considering their skill level. Calcifer made my wedding extra special and I'm so grateful to have booked them.

I heard Calcifer at a club in Cambridge and was instantly impressed with their versatility taking jazz, pop, rock songs and adding their own unique interoperation to the songs as well as playing original songs by the band. The crowd was applauding loudly after each song. I asked them if they would do a softer sound for a cocktail reception at an event i had with jazz music. They did and all my guests were able to talk and mingle but the music was anything but background music. Many guests let me know they loved the band. I highly recommend them for live club dates as well as private parties.
