Businessman, traveler, car guy, dad, teacher, comic. After 20+ years in corporate America John decided to head to NYC to do stand-up comedy…and the results have been epic. In his corporate life, John ran a premier automotive-industry event management firm producing product launches for clients such as BMW, Ford, Jaguar/Land Rover, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota & Volvo. John teaches “Comedy in Budiness" and has been featured in the WSJ. His comedic style rides on the edge of clean; is concise and audience-involved. He is available for corporate events, host spots, charities, lectures, MC & special events. He and his roster of top comics can create a true “comedy club” experience for any event.
John was an excellent hire for our series of commercials. He was a complete professional, bringing that extra special "something" to our creative. I loved watching him try different approaches, reactions and even new characters in each take. His natural comic timing and "on the fly" thinking was truly a great asset. He was always ready when we called "action" and even helped with our production crew in moving equipment, lighting, etc. He takes direction extremely well and was eager to try anything to make his performance match our needs. And honestly, he's really fun to have around. He exceeded our expectations and we will hire him again with confidence.
John performed for a company holiday party. He was spectacular. He engaged the audience and kept everyone laughing. John is a little edgy w/o being offensive, covering a wide variety of topics that are very relatable to the majority of the crowd.

What you can expect from me:
My mom taught me to always send a thank you note after receiving a gift. Well, in this case, let me thank you in advance!
My moto is simple: "I do my job, so you can do yours." In other words, when I am invited to perform, you don't have to worry about my needs - just focus on your guests.
TRUE PROFESSIONAL
As a professionally-trained comedian, I know how important it is to find professional, respectful and reliable entertainment for a special event. I have been in the hospitality / event planning business for 20+ years, so I appreciate the work required, as well as the pressure on you to make sure everything goes off without a hitch.
MY MATERIAL
My material is based on life experiences and connecting with the audience. I draw from my experience as a CEO, the amazing life as a father, the ups and downs of relationships, and living a life in this crazy world. The use of profanities and material that can make audiences uncomfortable is for the boardroom, not a comedy show.
With my diverse background and experience I can craft custom material, if needed. Whether you want to roast a boss, celebrate a birthday, or entertain employees, I will work with you to create a memorable, professional and respectful show. Likewise, my own material always gets a laugh.
TURNKEY SHOW
If needed, I can provide all necessary equipment, including sound and lighting, staging, video equipment and other special requests.
I look forward to working with you to "make 'em laugh."
After 20+ years in the corporate world, John found himself at a crossroads, so he decided to head to New York City to do stand-up comedy… and the results have been epic. Life as a single dad, teaching, dating and running a global event company, all provide for a “self concept” that is nothing shy of amusing.
John’s comedic style rides on the edge of clean; he is concise and audience-involved. His material plays to his life and personality – touching on work, fatherhood, relationships and event-specific topics developed for individual show.
In his corporate life, John ran (and still owns) Automotive Events, Inc., a global event-management agency which produces product launches, training, PR and safety technology studies for clients ranging from Audi to Volvo.
