We provide a professional looking jazz ensemble. You will see all of us dressed nicely. Our equipment looks very well taken care of and we set our ensemble up so that everyone is easily viewable. We will provide a style of Jazz congruent with your event or audience, and will play sets that are roughly 50 minutes in length with a ten minute break. We can accommodate receptions that are from a half hour to four hours. Our guitarist also sings standards from the jazz reportorie. We will mix our styles between Swing, Bebop, Latin, Funk and Fusion. If you want your patrons to experience what Kansas City Jazz sounds like, we will give them the most authentic experience they will ever have..

I have a Masters degree in performance and I have been a band leader in Kansas city for almost ten years in the Jazz, Blues and Rock scenes. My ensembles are known for being professional, tight and hard working. I bring in the top jazz musicians in Kansas City for all my gigs, and they will add a level of ambiance to your event that is as authentic as jazz gets in Kansas City. I have been the principal bassist in the University of Central Missouri Symphony Orchestra, both UCM Jazz bands, the UCM Scholarship combo as well as other ensembles around Kansas City. I am a recipient of the Stanley Clarke scholarship which I received when I was attending the Musician's Institute. I graduated from M.I. with full Honors.

We will bring our own amplification, music stands, stand lights, and equipment.
